The gymkhana department of Pratap College is committed to create a center of excellence in the all indoor and outdoor games in order to fulfill the Physical fitness by holistically developing skills and attitude for life. The college gymkhana department assures to provide all the advanced facilities to the players and thus tries to instill the good sporting habits in them. This shall be achieved through continually improving the total Quality Management .System and providing all facilities with our maintained systematic approach by involvement of each & every member of our institution.

Objectives:

• To provide physical education to semi urban youth and to make them self-reliant and disciplined.
• To ensure the overall physical development of the students
• To organize various games, matches for cultivation of physical values.
• To transfer the knowledge and skills for fulfillment of changing needs of country in the process of modernization.
• To develop the abilities of right kind of leadership amongst the students in all games.
• To provide the finest opportunities and environment for indoor and outdoor games.
• To ensure that 60% of students of every branch to play games within six months.
• To ensure maximum number of candidates entered in respective games by arranging matches at college and university level.
• To provide the opportunities of various games for upliftment and empowerment of women.
